# Step 1

### 1. Reinstall Windows with a USB Stick <a href="#id-1.-reinstall-windows-with-a-usb-stick" id="id-1.-reinstall-windows-with-a-usb-stick"></a>

* Download [Media Creation Tool](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10) by clicking download now
* Once downloaded run it, press accept, in the screen "What do you want to do" pick "Create installation media" and use the recommended settings.
* Once you have the ISO file, download the newest version of [Rufus](https://rufus.ie/en/)
* In Rufus you select the Windows 10 ISO file and your USB Stick and start the process. When it gives you the option to create a local account, check that box.
* Recommended is checking all the boxes.

* Now when your USB Stick is ready, you will have to do some bios settings boot into your bios. When you are in the bios you will change the boot order. #1 Usb stick #2 Windows boot manager.
* Save and exit the bios, it will automatically boot into your USB and when you are in the windows installation screen you have to clean all your disks EXCEPT your USB by doing this: press Shift + F10 -> type "list disk". Make a note of your disk numbers that you want to clean -> type "select disk \<disk number>" where \<disk number> is the disk number you want to clean -> type "clean" to delete all partitions and volumes on the disk. Now exit that cmd window and continue with the reinstallation.
* Select **Windows 10 Pro**
* Select **I don't have a product key**
* Select **Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)**
* Select your **main drive** and click **Next**
* Continue with the setup and finish installing Windows
